Seeing a need for members to have frequent contact with groups smaller than is possible in our general services, we developed a small group ministry called "GrowInGroups". Most of the groups meet in homes on Sunday evening, but one group meets at the church building. The center of each group's meeting is an informal Bible study, but significant time is allowed for prayer and the voluntary sharing of concerns. In addition to prayer and Bible study, each group is free to enjoy a fellowship time as they see fit. In some cases this includes sharing a meal or dessert. Every member is strongly encouraged to be
a regular participant in a GrowinGroup. Each Fall is scramble time
when members are invited to change groups or start new ones, but
members are free to visit and change groups at any time. Some groups
emphasize special areas such as prayer, evangelism, or families
with small children. All groups are open to all ages.
